The Bhagavad Gita app for Android does not collect, share or store any personal data. None at all.

What the app does not do

• it does not require registration and creates no accounts;
• it does not ask for your name, email, phone number or any other information about you;
• it contains no advertising and no advertising networks, and does not use the advertising ID;
• it uses no analytics, no tracking and no crash reporting;
• it shares nothing with third parties, because there is nothing to share.

What is kept on your device

So that you can continue where you stopped, the app remembers a few technical values: the chapter number, the position in the recording, the paragraph number, and your chosen book language, theme, type size and playback speed.

These values are stored only on your device, are never sent anywhere, and are deleted together with the app.

Internet

The text of the book is inside the app. The narration is hosted by Google Play and downloaded through Google Play itself, just as app updates are. This is the only thing the app goes online for; it has no servers of its own and sends no information about you.

Once downloaded, the recording stays on your device, and the app works without a connection.

Permissions

The app asks only for what the book needs in order to be heard: internet access, to receive the recording, and running in the background, so the recording keeps playing when the screen is off. The app has no access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera or location.

Children

The app is not made specifically for children, and it collects data about no one, children included.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
